Meeting the client brief (U3: P5, M4, D1) Learning outcome4 (U3): Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief   (I have exported both my front cover and double page spread as PNG images) My front cover and double page spread both meet the clients explicit demands of bringing attention to the vibrant music scene in North London. To meet this explicit demand of being vibrant I used elements colour pallets which would seem vibrant, and editing/colour correcting my photos to make them seem more vibrant and saturated. To meet the explicit demand, my chosen colour pallet fits the clients brief as it consists as quite bold colours that pop out and can be seen as vibrant; such as yellows and oranges. For example on  my double page spread, the yellow and orange outline around the model is very vibrant and saturated compared to the slightly dimmer and dustier orange I used for my background. Post-production techniques and processes (U3: P5) Learning Outcome 4 (U3): Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief. Post-production process - Front Cover     First I inserted the photo I was going to be using and scaled it up to the right size. Then I downloaded the font I was using for the title and typed the title name up. Then I erased the parts of the title that were covering the models face. I then added in my puff, price and barcode. And I also edited the colour filter of my photo a little bit. Then finally I added in my cover-lines. Post-production process - Double Page spread I inserted the image I was going to be using for the double page spread and scaled it to the size I wanted. I then removed the background as I didn’t want it to be included in the final product. Then I changed the colour of the background and inserted the nae of the artist and added an outline to the photo to make it stand...

Create production materials (U3: P4, M3) Learning Outcome 3 (U3): Be able to create production materials for an original media product to a client brief   Photo Thumbnails Taking Photographs  I won’t use this photo in my magazine as I don’t really like the dull lighting as it dims the photo and makes it look less exiting, and the bricks are slanted in the background which makes the picture look wonky. I will not be using this photo in my magazine as I don’t like the lighting as it dims the photo, and I also don't like how the bricks are slanted in the background. I will be using this photo for my magazine front cover as I feel the natural sun light gives the photo the look and aesthetic that matches that of my magazine. I also like the pose and candid look of the model.  I will not be using this photo as i don’t really like the pose that the model is doing in this photo, its quite straight forward and stiff.
