Feedback will be coloured Blue, and the responses in Black

The primary target audience is a bit narrow (13-19)

In response to this feedback, I will widen my target audience from 13-19 to 13-23. This is because I’m using Unidays for students to get a discount on my magazine which is typically used by college and university students, so should extend the Target audience to include older university students as well. This was also encourage more readers and potentially mean more profit for the magazine.

180 pages may be a bit optimistic

In response to this bit of feedback, I will make my magazine fewer pages. This is because if I have too many pages, I might run out of content and therefore the quality of my magazine will drop. In order keep the quality of my content consistent throughout, I will make my magazine fewer pages, yet still have enough pages for advertisements for income.

You should distribute your magazine where your target audience is going to see it

My response to this would be to distribute my magazine in student areas such as school libraries, and areas around schools/Universities such as train stations and news agents. This is so students within my target audience will go to these places and see my magazine and think about buying it. I could also make it available to students through SU’s as I could reach even more of my target audience.

Be careful of the terms and conditions with the giveaways

I will respond to this piece of feedback my making sure to mention the terms and conditions of the giveaway on the page its presented on. I will research into the regulatory body who enforces these rules, this is so I can ensure that I don’t breach any terms and therefore make the terms obvious to my readers.

There were a few typos in the powerpoint

In the future I will make sure to proof read, and get someone else to read over my powerpoint so I can correct these mistakes before presenting. This is because my magazine will look more professional and not rushed as typos make the magazine look unprofessional.
